Fractured Paintbox by Quiltworx/Judy Niemeyer With Certified Instructor: Ann Troutman Two Tuesdays, 4/1/25 and 4/8/25 from 10am-4pm Our next Quiltworx project class with Ann is Fractured Paintbox. It was designed as a beginner pattern to introduce quilters to paper piecing! The project is fast, uses only one foundation block, employs simple cutting techniques, and is an affordable and fun way to jump into your first paper piecing project. It is meant to make those new to the process find confidence, understanding and success! This pattern works with the Quiltworx Tonga 2-1/2” Strip Sets which have 48 strips instead of 40. This strip set makes the 3 X 4 layout of “paint boxes”. The instructions include information for a 3 X 3 layout that uses a standard set of 40 2-1/2’ strips. (40 pieces) as well. It is so popular that there is an entire Pinterest page dedicated to it! Search and see all the different way to color yours !
