Beginning Sewing with Dotty- Pillowcase Monday 9/30/24 from 10am-3pm Come and make your first sewing project with Dotty! This is an introduction to sewing basics. You will learn about cutting and sewing a straight line, reading a pattern and a neat finishing technique! We made our pillowcase from Glow-In-The-Dark Halloween printed fabric but you choose your own theme. CLASS FEE: $35 SKILLS: Beginner and up Remember: Inspire offers 15% off all supplies purchased for classes Supply List: Sewing machine in working order Manual, cord and foot pedal for machine neutral color thread; gray, tan or white sewing tool kit with scissors, pins, seam ripper, and fabric marker rotary cutter with new blade Creative Grids ruler at least 4” by 18.” Medium Cutting Mat Notepaper and pencil Fabric needed: one pillowcase kit or 3/4 yd for the body 1/3 yd for contrasting cuff 1/8 yd for inserted flange trim REMINDER: Class Cancellation Policy is one week in advance to receive a refund; otherwise, you will receive store credit. If you cancel or do not show on the day of class, there will be NO REFUND OR STORE CREDIT since we must compensate our teachers.
